The Revue Juridique étudiante de l'Université de Montréal (R.J.E.U.M.) is an electronic scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of student research in law. Managed by students, for students, the Revue is a publication space that is both rigorous and accessible. Rigorous, because the selection of content is ensured by an anonymous peer-review process, the cornerstone of scientific publication, with our reading committee drawing on the knowledge of some forty law professors and experts. Accessible, because the exclusion of contributions from professors lowers the level of competition, as the Journal seeks to publish promising authors who stand out from the crowd.
USFQ Law Review is a free-authored, peer-reviewed and indexed academic law journal that will be published twice a year starting in 2021, with the first issue of this volume published in May and the second in October 2021. The journal was born in 2012 from a student initiative. Since then, it has been the first legal periodical in Ecuador entirely developed, managed and edited by undergraduate students at the College of Jurisprudence of the University of San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador. Its aim is to provide a space for national and international experts in various fields of law, such as students, professionals and academics, to publish legal research articles in which different perspectives and critical opinions on current legal issues are raised. In addition, it seeks to be a source of research for its high-level academic content and to improve the quality of legal debate in Ecuador and throughout the region, responding to the needs of the legal community, both nationally and internationally.
